Since moving from the city to live on a farm in 2005 I have become a lot more attuned to natural environment photography. Our farm is a haven for all kinds of wildlife - deer, beaver, coyote, bear, otter, and, of course, a large variety of birds. In our neighbourhood a number of osprey nests have been constructed on top of hydro poles and, each summer, many of them are occupied. The osprey above lives in one of these nests about a hundred yards from our driveway entrance.
