There was a point in my life where I fancied becoming an architect. In school, from a class of 30 taking art classes, I regularly came in 31st. This was because my draughtsmanship was, and remains to this day, utterly incompetent. This is also a reason why my arts career has been in photography, a discipline which requires an artistic eye and vision but not the ability to draw. I still retain my interest in architecture, however, and can appreciate the fine details in the work of others - the curves, the lines, the geometry.
